Watkins Glen!!

Yesterday was simply magical......from start to finish such a special day.......the kind of day that stays with you all of the rest of your days, which was precisely my plan;-) We got up and got the car packed and had an easy drive here. We arrived at our cabin and met the woman that owns it and she was so sweet.....and finding this cabin was a stroke of luck. They are normally booked this time of years and normally a few night minimum! But booking it last minute paid off. I definitely think we will be back! Maybe summer :) so we got settled and soaked up some of its beauty, then drove the 8 miles to Watkins Glen......we arrived at 1:11 which was and felt very much like my zone.....those 11s still chasing me since my marriage ended.;) Showing me when I am in alignment....little sign. As soon as I parked I got a knock on the window from a kind woman wondering if we wanted her parking pass...it was $10 to park for the day and she was finished.....so I obliged gratefully and it was such a nice feeling.....getting ready and arriving for our big adventure. We went in and got a map and we were on our way! And from the moment you arrive there it is magical beauty......really really special.....we ended hiking and running into one of Madeline's friends and his mom!! So we chatted with them then finished our hike in all its beauty......witnessing the proposal and love on the rock.....also so so special. I hadn't had an opportunity to tell them I had their picture on my phone, but as luck would have it the kids and I were sitting on a bench when we were done hiking and they walked by. The woman was so happy that I had the picture to share it brought tears to her eyes :) so special.....then during part of hike my mind shifted to looking for a cross and in a moment or so we were walking past a random cemetery and there it was! We then we stopped at a park at Seneca lake and the water was gorgeous! Then back to the cabin and had our special snacks and fire and relaxed.....and it was all so easy and lovely. Then as luck would have it I was trying to lock the one door for the night and had to open it to peek to close it and saw the magnificent sunset.....which wasn't to be missed and I hadn't known was going on outside, again just by luck ;-) we slept great and are ready to hike a new place today before we head home! I am feeling so blessed and so glad we did this! Memories forever....:)
