Planning adventures......

Some people are wired for extensive travel.....seeking to see the world every chance they get....and now that I understand so much more about astrology, and our natural wiring....and the things that speak to us, and pull us so fiercely, I get it more clearly.....As for me .......my home body Taurus can be happy to stay home, and be cozy, and get kinda stuck in that....and creating home is a big part of my chart alongside Venus things.....which is all related to that.... and I can most definitely be more routined that way, and I have always loved to go places, but never crave it......However having said that, I can see myself in my retirement, and maybe sooner..... crossing big trips off of my bucket list, and seeing the world some now in my new life with my crew.....I never quite saw that in my old one.....so until I can jet set some lol;-) I am content to plan smaller adventures for my kids and I, and be intentional about doing so....and so far for this year I have my sights set on an Ice Castle place very soon in New Hampshire.....for both their birthdays.....a long weekend! So I am working on doing that. Gabe's birthday is this week.....he will be 17 and it is so hard to believe.....it actually blows me away when I think of that.....and Mads will be 8 in early February.....again....hard to believe.....so in lieu of spending my money on parties so they can get more stuff, yikes, I am opting for an experience they will never forget:) The ice castles look amazing, and we may have a friend of ours and her daughter join us on our adventure, so that will be fun! The second adventure I have my sights on is Acadia National Park in Maine.....I have heard how amazing it is....and I want to get us there! I originally hoped we could get out west this summer, but I think I am putting that on next summer's docket so I can include all I want to and do it right......so Acadia is a good substitution for this summer.....and I am hoping to get us to the beach for a few days too somewhere......either separately or alongside Acadia.....so I am looking at places to stay, and figuring out what kinds of stuff we want to do besides hiking while we explore there.....And it feels exciting to look ahead to some intentional ways to spend our time together, and create memories and see new places together.....and while travel is not something hardwired into me I don't believe necessarily.....it most definitely appeals to me, and I look forward to doing more of it in my new life and as things evolve:) Mads is itching for Disney and I have to figure that out at some point too before she gets too old! I am working on ways to save for our adventures, and make it all happen and trust that it will! The kids and I are so excited for these ice castles, and cannot wait to make an unforgettable memory in a couple of weeks:) I want them to look back at our life party of 3 and feel like it was full and fun and exciting and that nothing ever held us back, us versus the world! ;-)

Day 11 of Pilates yesterday- no joke- it was only 10 min - lower body but it was fierce! Day 12 today 😊
