Some revelry! ........

I had a really lovely weekend.....doing so many things that filled me up! Friday I spent the night quietly watching some TV after I dropped my kids off....need to rest from a crazy week.......then I got to visit with my parents, and have lunch with them sans my kids which is nice sometimes:) To be able to freely talk to them, without my kids around, and in the mix! Then I did some Christmas shopping with my mom! Then I headed to the Jive for a little bit.....and had a good time! Yesterday I had a slow lazy morning and then I had to run some errands, and then I headed to the Santa crawl for PASS and Autism and it was amazing....the truth is I could have happily stayed home, cozy in my bed as the rain came down....but I am glad I made the effort to throw on my reindeer jumpsuit I snagged from TJMaxx and join the fun..... as an aside I had not been in TJ since the end of August due to my financial fast.....It was the first time in so long! So i made the effort and headed out and it was so fun! I got to see a bunch of people that I love so much, and what I think was so special was that all the people I spent time with yesterday were in sort of the same space....just tons of laughter and fun. holiday spirit to spare......and I laughed so hard most of the day.......and ended it with being able to dance at the Jive.....and I haven't been able to dance out in a long time, like really dance, outside of my house l9l:) So we all danced and enjoyed ourselves for such a good cause.....PASS- Pike Autism Support Services is the love child of my dear friends John and Jeannemarie....and the organization has done so much good in this area.......for so many years......they have helped so many families navigate the waters of Autism with their children, and it has been beautiful to watch.....we have been adopted by the Autism community because Williams Syndrome is pretty rare and we are sorta on our own around here.....so connecting with all of these folks and having a place to call our own too has been lovely.....and I am sure they raised so much money.....there were so many people, and the costumes are always so elaborate....and they pick a winner....and it is all in such good fun....a super popular event, and this is the first one I was able to go to, and I will definitely be marking my calendar for next year! Feeling blessed this morning as I roll into Monday......I have amazing people in my life, and so much support amid the rest and it makes my heart feel happy.....I was also so happy for my kids to come home....the elves had left the kids some festive sweaters for the holiday season;-) and they were overjoyed....and they too had a great weekend with their dad..... all I can ask for right!
