Soarin Eagle........

So I wrote about adventuring to the sunflower farm yesterday....that that was my intention, and it sure was a gorgeous day for that.....but last minute I changed my plans......I have been wanting to check out Soarin Eagle tours in Hawley since it opened.....and I checked their site mid morning, and they still had a couple of slots for 3pm and I decided to snag it.....it is challenging to get tickets normally.....and while it was pricey for sure.....it was worth it......the kids loved it and so did I.....it is one of our favorite things we have done.....the entire experience was great.....they communicate with you on a personal level once you sign up.....text wise and email.....it had a sweet feel.......and then when you get there they are super friendly and engaging and fun.....and the ride is beautiful.....yesterdays weather was on point for it in every way......I can imagine on super hot days it is likely hot. Although there was shade at many points....and the wind of the bike moving is good....yesterday I was pretty cold by the end......I would have brought snacks and drinks too if I had it to do over:) You can pedal the entire way or use the motorized piece.....we opted to pedal most of the way, and use the motorized part for a little bit.....my legs are still feeling it this morning:) The views along the water were great, and Mads felt like a few parts were laden with magic among these cool rocks.....and I agreed fully:) My intention was to make the day a spectacular one for the kids.....things have been challenging for them lately in some ways and I wanted to make up for that......to have them feel how very loved and important they are.....and that adventuring with them is my favorite......:) Always:).....and really the weather.....we don't get too many days like that to do something amazing! It was exactly as I wanted it to be, and I have no regrets in deciding to go for it! So now we jump into a full week for us all, and then homecoming for my guy on Saturday, and and the rest of this month is super busy.....and I am trying to breathe through it all.....I snuck meal prep in yesterday too which I am so grateful for.....so we are set up for success this week! That takes so much pressure off of my life.....having lunch and dinner solved.....The kids and I stopped for ice cream on the way home....it was dinner:) Because well.....why not.....we stopped by Lake Wallenpaupack and their prices and sizes were amazing.....and the ice cream was so good......so another adventure on the books and I am grateful......we said a prayer of gratitude as we sped along on our four seater bike, amid the beauty and fun, and expressed our deep gratitude for it all! Happy Monday! Enjoy the day:)
