Adventure up ahead!

I recently discovered that I have a full week off for spring break in March! A rare thing, normally we have Thursday, Friday, and Monday off.....and since I never look too far ahead it was a happy surprise;-) I am a planner, but not a planner if that makes sense lol:) I try and focus on today.....it was a coping mechanism that saved me at certain points....telling myself I can do all things in TODAY, and well it turns out that is true:) However discovering that a beautiful week of spring break was looming up ahead, I decided to scout out some adventure for myself and my crew! And originally I looked into Ocean City Maryland.....but soon realized it is not south enough to make any impact at that time of year.....so I started to check into Myrtle Beach SC.....I have never been to South Carolina.....so there is that, and it is just south enough for us then.....and there are Palm trees....and my kiddos haven't seen them yet! :) And due to it being off season I was excited to see what they had to offer, right on the beach, for a good price:) My daughter adores the ocean....like she would live beneath it if she could I think:) .and my son too:)......And then somebody mentioned a woman that we work with having an Airbnb there......and I spoke to her and she was more than willing to offer it to us.....and that was so lovely, but we finally landed in the luckiest spot of all.....my mom and dad deciding to give us their timeshare for that week at this amazing resort like place right on the beach.......and they may decide to join us too! So it is an exciting thing up ahead......this winter is shaping up to be kinda tough weather wise.....and having respite from it all by then will be right on time.....and I am SO grateful.....like having it work that way, where there is now a free and amazing place for us, is SUCH a gift to our lives.....truly.....and I am so so appreciative for it.......the kids are super excited.....and it is fun to have the adventure in our sights.....I also have the pieces of my mother and daughter Galentine's Event coming together.....Just working on the last details before I put it out there....in my mind it is getting my feet wet some for the workshops I plan on hosting this spring for my empowerment movement for young gals and women! I am writing content now for those and getting all my ducks in a row.....the first part of the new year felt sorta sludge like lol:) Not as much momentum as I had hoped.....but I am feeling it this week....so I am going to ride the energy:) And you know here is the thing......I know I write about the tough stuff that has found me.....and there is no question that I have had my fair share......but more of the truth is this......I am a BLESSED woman......just wildly so, in such amazing and profound ways.....Having so many blessings in my life on repeat, in all of the ways:) My life taking always taking on this beautiful hue on the other side of any challenges I have faced......and I remind myself often that everything is working out for me......because well it is;-)
