AHHHH! Here we go!

I had written awhile back about getting a lightning bolt, and in my opinion a divinely placed moment, this last betrayal showing me another level of empowerment, and self respect.....and through some events, it occurred to me to ponder what would happen IF young girls could step into their power BEFORE they gave it away......preventing young girls, which is my goal for my own daughter too:), from having to walk in the paths that their mothers have......couple all of that with the fact that I have been teaching 9 years olds for over 22 years.....and I see the challenges that they face in this new world, and the decline in mental health, and connection and that they are STARVING for it....and so it seemed like the perfect next step, coaching and teaching coming together in a beautiful and harmonious way! So it has been on my heart to create a space that provided connection and a sense of belonging to young girls, ages 8-12........designed to help them grow strong and glow from the inside out. Through connection, creativity, meaningful conversations, and connection, and through a special candlelight 'Glow Circle" that closes all of our workshops with affirmations and mindfulness in tow. My goal is for the girls to learn self-love, confidence, gratitude, and how to trust their inner voice and learn tools to thrive in their journey! Each workshop will give the girls practical tools to build resilience, friendship, and inner peace in a supportive community of other girls lifting each other up! I am so over the mean girl stuff, and if we want to shift that old narrative we need to intentionally teach girls that they don't have to be mean girls, leading by example..........they can live in their own truth, and support another girl to do the same, feeling safe to shine their own light while supporting another girl to do the same! As I began to create it all "light" and glowing became a theme in the components....and I do not think that is by accident.....I think the world needs light more than ever right now:).....and creating a space for girls to become more in tune with their light is right on time in my opinion! So yesterday it ALL hit me.....and I sat down at my computer and poured it ALL out! I have the themes for the workshops! I have the content that will be within the workshops! I have the format of the workshops which will remain the same, kids love consistency, and I have some signature things that I want them to look for!!! But more importantly look forward to!! So each workshop will be set up the same way, and the difference in all of them will be the theme we will be exploring:) I have 6 planned so far, and will cycle them monthly. So two full cycles each year. But I for see expansion in that regard, and running multiple ones because I geared them toward 10 girls at a time. I also plan on running mother daughter ones.....and still working with women. There may even be a way for me to elevate the content to be adult appropriate, and run the same theme for women too! But for now I am putting my energy into getting this age group up and running:) I am gearing it toward 8-12 year old girls! But I am open to running it for teens too as it continues, because I know they also struggle with those things! I am also working on the place that they will be held at the moment! And some back office business stuff! I have them named them also, they will be called " I got YOU girl" Empowerment workshops! Ironically there are variations of that kind of thing out there, but not that specifically! And it resonates so deeply with my heart and my mission! :) I plan on creating a movement and eventually running assemblies for kids too in schools! :)I am holding my first one in May! The workshops will be called Grow with Gratitude, Be Your Own Best Friend, Brave Girl Energy, Trust Your Inner Voice, Your Inner Sunshine, and Step Into Your Power. And all I can say this morning is that I am HUMBLED and so damn grateful that I have been given the opportunity to be in the position I am, to use what has happened in my life, some of the most painful things, and be shown the way to alchemize those things into the purpose I have found. Getting to live THIS life, one that I feel so passionate about! So I will be putting it out today! And continue to work on the fine tuned details, and start having girls sign up in April! And be putting more out with dates and times and of course the location, yet to be determined!!! Here we GO! It is GO time and the new chapter begins:):) Pinch me, really, I AM SO EXCITED and READY:)
