It is TIME!

I have some lingering personal goals for this summer that I am working toward checking off....still in the process of changing my name in all the places this week.....went to the bank the other day, and they needed my new social security card, which I didn't get yet......so back I go another day....so there are some loose ends.....have a few get togethers coming up that I am working on planning, and working on the details.....I want to have some semblance of a graduation party for Gabe with some family, and some friends this summer too....not a huge thing but a nice way to celebrate him:) But I have some business goals I am chasing....I am hoping to do some writing this week.....and there is a women's festival at the end of August, when my kids will be gone with my parents in the OBX that I came across last night, and I am considering doing a workshop for it:) The opportunity came through looking at the event, and it spoke to me, and it would be a good opportunity to grow......in lots of ways, and get myself out there some more.....I also connected with some leads on people that can help me navigate some of the things I want to do to expand my business.....I need to check on pricing, and what it all involves but it is on my radar......I have spent a lot of time and energy this summer tending to my home, and decorating some more and having it all come together.....which is always something that brings me great joy....and I am eagerly anticipating this holiday season when I can have ALL of my Christmas trees up and in every room;-) Last year my kitchen was being done and I could only put up one, it was painful for me lol:) so today finds me having accomplished much of my summer to do list in terms of appointments etc.....the kids and I have some more adventuring to do too....have some more ideas....and we all know the summer flies by right?? The shortest season.....with everybody having so much they want to do, and then you blink and well......we all know what is ahead lol:) However I am going into the next school year knowing that the logistics will be easier for us all....I need to register my daughter for school this week too....which she is excited about.....we will head to the school one day this week.....my boy still wanted to do some summer school, and has the option to, so he will a couple of weeks too, and maybe she and I will hike some while he is doing that.....Mads has been taking piano and enjoying that.......and it is funny as I write all this, and feel the to do list closing in some....it makes me realize stuff about me....I sure do love to check off to do stuff no question.....but I also have had grace visit the scenario.....and realize that my plans may not be the plans that end up fully getting done....that timing is everything....and things tend to happen in their time and not mine....so I will continue to set intentions, but then let life unfold as it will.....not getting too caught up in it......I am happy to be hosting a brunch tomorrow for some of my work peeps.....it will be good to see them and catch up:) I feel like so much of my life has changed in the last 6 months....in ways I did not expect...and that sounds silly to type considering the massive change that has taken over my life in recent years;-)....but the last few months have been a condensed version of that.....and I suppose change is the only constant right?? Another cliche resonating....and embracing it is all we can do....trusting that the tides bring us to all the places we need to go.....even to our to do list...I plan on making every moment of the rest of the summer count:) Enjoy the day:)
