Summer stuff......

This is the time of the school year that deadlines are coming fast and furious, everybody is ready for summer and we are in the final crunch! Next Tuesday is the last day for my kids, and then we have a day and a half beyond that, and another year is on the books! My 21st year at Bushkill and 24th teaching.....And I already have some ideas for next year....things I want to try, things I want to change, things to maybe help with some of the challenges we faced this year.....but first summer:) Ahh......what a beautiful gift it is to my life....it is never lost on me year after year.....this precious time to spend with my own kids....as they grow.....and while I am wanting to adventure as much as possible and make memories, I am also planning the things I want to accomplish.....always goals alongside play;-) I most definitely want to clean out more.....maybe have a yard sale, and then get a dumpster.....and I want to revamp some of the tech parts of my business....change some stuff, and figure some stuff out I have wanted to for awhile.....I want to finish my book too! So those seem like manageable goals alongside all of the rest....I am ready for slower days....working out at 9 or 10 am instead of 6;-) I much prefer that time...getting Mads ready for her new journey at DV....getting her registered and taking care of all of that... I also want to get our passports.....and officially and legally finally change my name alongside the real ID business.....that is my other goal... I am working on Gabe's special needs trust, and my will......and we always do our best to get our doctor's appointments out of the way.....trying not to use our time off in the school year for that....so I will be scheduling all of that too....that balance I was speaking about, the playing and the to do list.....:) the never ending to do list;-) I also want to pick up a few more clients as I have time to do so......the flow has been beautifully flowing.....as I discharge a client another steps forward.....having had the perfect amount of business building:) and the dance between the two working out so well....and I am trusting that will be the case moving forward.... and as my divorce series kicks off too...... Today we have Bushkill Bash going on at school......it is a fun day outdoors, and then we have a glow dance party.....and will be doing that too.....a fun day for the kids and staff alike:) I really enjoyed the weekend....was happy to have the kids, their dad had to cancel....so it was a gift to spend the time with them....and we had fun:) Mads and I got to planting yesterday and doing some yard stuff. What a spectacular day yesterday was weather wise:) Lots of hiking on deck this summer....want to check out some new spots....so summer will be a mix of all the things that the space provides for us:) And I am really looking forward to it:) More than anything, just catching my breath and slowing it all down some, and enjoying every minute of it!
