YOU inspire ME.........

I wrote awhile back about starting a new venture......or I suppose not so much starting as joining one, expanding what I am doing in my coaching business.... I had connected with a doctor in our area, to join her in her weight loss program and to help her patients.....being the coach portion of her program.........and I have been posting in her FB group daily to help motivate and inspire some of those folks, and it has been going well:) But last night we had our first in person meet up.....and it was so lovely to meet some of the FB group folks I have interacted with in real life.....there was a great turnout, and there was terrific information shared by her to her patients, and I learned a lot myself, which I always love.....my nerdy gal loves new information;-) And then I got to speak on some goal setting stuff, and share some of my journey....and it resonated, and I got good feedback from them saying it was good to meet me, and that it was inspiring to them......but here is the thing......that is so rewarding, it really is....... and it is what I seek to do always in my coaching, but what all the folks that I work, and meet with, don't understand fully I do not think......is that THEY INSPIRE ME!!!!!!!!!! It never gets old......to see and feel the human spirit in my interaction with them.....and bear witness to their overcoming.....there was a group of brave folks sitting in that room.....all walks of life.....all ages.....coming from all different backgrounds and lives, making a commitment to REGAIN their health......to reclaim wellness or perhaps find it for the first time in all of their lives......and well.....I cannot think of a more worthy endeavor......health is absolutely wealth.....and the absence of it is felt deeply.....and the gaining of it is life changing......I have never been this healthy in all of my life....in all ways.....and I am committed to doing everything in my power to keep it.....I had a lovely talk with the doctor afterwards, and she said I inspire her.......and that I am living the pillars of health in my life, and she admires that so much.....and she talked about the blue zones in the world, where people live to be 100 collectively and in large, and easily based on their lifestyles....and she said that is where I will be with the lifestyle choices I have made.....and I told her her lips to God's ears;-) but each and every one of the people I met last night inspired me.....it is not easy to stand up for your health and make a commitment to change your life....so I am just wildly excited to watch these folks journey at our monthly meetings and online.....watching them win in their lives....my favorite thing......I am so honored to be along for the ride! And so grateful I get to live THIS life:):) Happy Friday!
